Happy 19th Birthday Brandon!!!

     (This post is just only 1 week behind!! )  
      My little baby boy is all grown up! This time 19 years ago, we welcomed Brandon C. Eastman into our lives at 11:54am on June 29, 1992. Colby was now a big brother and Brandon would forever be the little brother. Colby & Brandon are 2 1/2 years apart which I think was just perfect.


     Brandon's B-day fell on a Wednesday this year, so after church a group of us met at Subway to hang out. This week it was Mr. Doug, Ken, Kris, Kaci, Matt, Kelly, Scott, Sherry, Emily, Jessica, Chuckie, Brandon & I. I brought a cake which I had picked up from Publix on my way home from work. I even remembered to pick up candles! Surprise on that one! ;)


Kris made Brandon the cutest card! She is so creative! In more ways than I can dream to be. They picked Brandon out one of the shirts he's been wanting that's suppose to help keep you cooler while you are out in the heat. He loved it! It was very thoughtful of them to think of Brandon. They sure have helped Brandon so much in the past couple of years!


Saturday, July 2, 2011, we had Brandon's Bday get together with Pa & Nannie, Aunt Karen, Jay & Kason, Colby & Sarah. We all gathered at Jay & Karen's house. Jay grilled his famous hamburgers, which Colby now claims the famous ingredient is "A-1 sauce"!! Nannie made her famous potato salad which was so yummy. I think Jay could have at the whole bowl by himself! Nannie also made the cupcakes & some delicious peanut better chocolate yummy stuff (can't recall the actual name..I know it's Jello-no bake!). I so enjoyed Karen's sweet tea!! You can't beat an ice cold glass of iced tea!


We all enjoyed such a great time!!!! Brandon received Tim Tebow's book from Aunt Karen & Jay!! He had been wanting this since it had came out. This will definitely be a keepsake gift! :)


Brandon still has one more celebration and that is with Papa & Granny Eastman! This is one Birthday that just keeps on going & going! :)


We love you Brandon & each day you bring us joy, smiles & laughter not to mention all the times you aggravate me, pick on me, & really just make me made! But if you didn't you just wouldn't be you, would you? lol

Kason's Professional Pics Taken by Amanda Cannon!

     My sister Karen & brother in law Jay took my little sweet nephew Kason to have his pics taken a couple of weeks ago. We have a local photographer here in Chiefland, Florida named  Amanda Canon Photography. I Well this is who took Kason's photos! This is the second time she has photographed Kason. {I thought I had blogged about that, but didn't, opps!!} I would highly recommed her to anyone.
She has some of her photos on display in my sister's consignment shop & they are breath taking!
I've been working today on some digital layouts of the photos of Kason from the photo shoot with Amanda! Here are the ones I have done so far:

My Favorite Digital Scrapbook Software is on sale 1/2 price!

      I have found just the right digital scrapbook software! I'm happy to share the name of it with y'all, it's.... "My Memories Suite 2." I can't tell you how happy I'm to have found this! I like the idea that I can create only one page & save it as jpeg and print it out & put it in a frame instead of having to create a whole scrapbook! You can create one page or 50 pages! It's totally up to you.
     MMS has lots of background pages, embellishments, different layouts for you photos, etc. so you have lots of options. It also seems you can upload other digital papers & embellishments to the software, but I haven't tried this yet! Their are lots of tutorials out on youtube also as to how to use MMS.

Aunt Robin & Nanny had came over to visit while I was babysitting Kason.
They even got to visit with Karen too! We had a nice afternoon together. :)
