Colby & Sarah Almost A Year Ago!

Here's a picture of Colby & Sarah from Valentines Day 2010. They have been dating now for over a year. Colby proposed to Sarah Oct. 24th (I think I've got the date right!?) & they have the wedding set for December 31st 2011!!! We are all so excited! I will finally have a daughter!! I had so much buying for her @ Christmas time. I just edited a few pictures @ http://www.picnik.com/ and came up with this layout:

Kason Loves The Vacuum Cleaner Per His Mommy! :)

My sister sent the funniest txt last night!! (I'm blogging about it so I can share it with y'all but also so I'll have it written down somewhere so it won't be forgotten!) She said she probably has the only baby boy that cries when the VACUUM CLEANER IS SHUT OFF because that means he can't chase it anymore. Now mind you he's almost 10 months old. I thought she was going to say he was crying because the vacuum cleaner scared him! Oh no...it's because he can't chase it anymore. How funny is that? Too funny!!! I will post a recent picture of him tonight when I get home. :) :)

Karen & Kason :)

Look how he's holding onto his Mommy! :) There's nothing like a
your baby holding onto you!

Merry Christmas Again! (2nd Christmas Get Together)

Happenings on Sunday - December 26, 2010.  We went to worship services Sunday morning and then headed to Papa & Granny's house afterwards. We stopped @ Little Caesars Pizza on the way there for some pizza & yummy crazy bread. It had seriously been a long time since we had ordered pizza from there. By the time Chuckie and I arrived Colby, Sarah & Brandon were already there and they were hungry! We all sat at the table together and enjoyed lunch.
Colby, Sarah & Brandon got their present.....Papa & Granny gave Colby truck mats for his Dodge, they gave Sarah a pretty pair of sterling silver earrings & a Gator blanket & they gave Brandon diamond plate side rails for the back of his truck. We had agreed with Papa and Granny not to get one another anything for Christmas but they surprised us and got us a $25.00 gift card to Outback and one to Red Lobster!
We enjoyed a nice afternoon spending time with family. :) Here's a few pics:

Colby & Sarah...They make the cutest couple!!

Merry Christmas!!!

I wrote the below post on December 25, 2010, Saturday:

Merry Christmas!!

It’s 6:45pm here in Florida. It’s raining and going to turn cooler! High of 53 degrees tomorrow. Monday night it will be low in the 20’s!! Pretty cold for here in Florida! :) :) I’m LoViNg it!

We had a wonderful Christmas Day @ my sister and brother in laws house (Karen & Jay). They have a 9 month old little boy, Kason. He was so much fun to be around. At one point after lunch, my Mom, Dad, Sister, Kason & I went to his bedroom and just sat around & watched him play. Just fun simple times but what nice memories!!!

Colby brought Sarah over and she was a joy to be around. Her and Colby knew I was “making” them something but they didn’t know what. I created them a scrapbook with their engagement pictures!! I had been working on it for several weeks. I loved creating something for them that will become more meaniful as times passes!! They both really loved the scrapbook!!!

Brandon hooked his Wii up (he bought it with graduation money) & played it while we were finishing cooing. We bought him another game and gun & controller for Christmas. He also got a book that Tim Tebow partially wrote.

We gave Karen & Jay a 8x10 collage with pis of them and Kason from the first 9 months. I put it in a pretty frame with blue jewels. They loved it!

I took a pic of Moma and Daddy & put it in a frame & also a pic of their two cocker spaniels- Lucy & Sawyer & put it in a fram & gave them that as their present. They really liked it!

Money really has been tight this year so Chuckie and I didn’t switch presents this year. We were both in agreement to this. This is the first time in 21 years that this has happened! It really did stink having to do this, but yet was worth it if it meant having money to do for other people!

We had an abundance in food! We are all so blessed in what all we have.

Here's my youngest son & I {Brandon}...my sweetheart!

Brandon & his Aunt Karen which is my sweet sister.

Colby {my oldest} holding Kason.. :)

Colby with his fiance Sarah. I still can't believe I'll
finally have a daughter!!! I loved buying her Christmas gifts! :)

Brandon was going to feed Kason and rock him to sleep. Well Kason had other
plans! Neither of the two items above were in Kason's plans!! lol

This year Karen bought a little tree to put up on the counter since Kason is so
little. Next year her big tree will be going up!!

Pics

Here are few pictures of our sweet babies aka Newman & Ollie:
Above pic: This is Newman. He is my bestest friend! I woke up this morning
to him above my head on my pillow. He gave me several kisses before I totally woke up. I now
realize why... our alarm clock went off & I didn't get up when Chuckie called my name! I think
Newman was trying to get me up!! lol He is the best present I've ever gotten!

Above picture: Newman is on the left and Ollie is on the right. Ollie is such a
sweet boy! I trimmed Ollie last night with scissors and he just laid there for
me! He is so trusting & so sweet!

Here's my sweetie pie. He always looks so serious in pictures but he's really
not! He's a joy to be around.

This is Newman begging to has his belly scratched! He reminds me of a big
elephant sitting on his behind! lol  How cute is he?
I'm very thankful for our children with fur!

Our Christmas Tree @ Work!!!

Jenna, Tina & I put our tree up in the Out Patient Lab here at Shands @ UF. This is my first Christmas here at Shands. I { L O V E} my job here even more than I ever dreamed that I could!!! God definitely answers prayers. This is 100% true.
Back to the tree. We three decorated it and it looked just cute. But Jenna finished it off for us. We didn't have a tree topper, but we had an extra big red ornament which was missing a metal spot to hang a clip to the tree so Jenna being the smart person she is put it on the very top of the tree!!! Then it leaned.  This made it just {P E R F E C T} !!! It reminded us of a Dr. Seuss Christmas Tree. This tree has character. Who said a tree needs lights? It just depends on how you decorate your tree and what makes you happy! Everytime I look at this Christmas tree it makes me smile. :)

Christmas Ornaments

I have always loved home made Christmas ornaments. There is nothing quite like your children bringing home a Christmas ornament they have made at school or daycare. It's also nice to have an heirloom to be able to pass to your children one day down the road!
I stumbled upon this Snowman Ornament at Full of Great Ideas: Five fingers snowman ornament:

Here's another cool Christmas Ornament for all the golfers in your life!!

I just totally LOVE this ornament and plan on making a couple of these for the golf players in our lives.
Y'all have fun making these!! :)
