2nd day of our Mini Vacay...
We had a great nights sleep & couldn't wait to get the day started. We had Cracker Barrel for breakfast after a couple of hours on the road. It's our favorite place to eat breakfast.
I felt like a little kid on this vacation. I was so excited when we first spotted the view of the mountains! Yes, I took a picture. Well, I handed the camera to my Mom & she snapped it. I found out that you do not get has many photo ops while sitting in the back seat! That's the only downfall with going with someone other than your hubby. You'll be stuck in the backseat. But remember I'm only here for the ride. Hahaha!
Daddy pulled over here so I could get some pics.....
We stopped at a few yard sales which we love to do! My only buy for the day was a Davey Crockett hat that I found at a little store with antiques and what nots.
This hat is for my little nephew, Kason. He loves the movie Where the Red Fern Grows. He changes his name to Billy from time to time, since that's the little boys name on the movie. He has even named two of little doggies, Ann & Dan after the dogs on the movie. Kason is such a character! I think he will love this hat! Karen has a photo shoot with Amanda Cannon this coming week and she's taking this hat! He's going to be wearing denim overalls just like Billy! The best part of the photo shoot is, Amanda is taking a crocker sack & cutting two holes in it & putting two of their hound puppies in there! She's going to have Kason hold it over his shoulder like Billy does in the movie!!! It should be priceless. I can't wait to see the photos.
This store had so many cute things:
This store was located Tenneessee. It did my heart good to see a good ole' Florida Gator! Go Gators!
I think the bears are cute, but the wooden owl is what grabbed my attention!
This is my Daddy walking Lucy during a potty break....
We had a great 2nd day on our mini vacay... :)

Vacay to North Carolina & Tennessee With My Parents!!
This spur of the moment trip with my Daddy and Moma has been one relaxing trip. They invited me on Wednesday to go with them...they were leaving the next day! I talked to my hubby and he encouraged me to go. He said, "go and have a good time! Even six months ago, this wouldn't have been an option for me to go because of work and my health. Amazing how in God's time things can do a 360 degree turn around!
I started Plexus on July 16th 2012. It's now been 2 1/2 months and my health is so much better. Plexus helped my Fibromyalgia pain and increased my energy not to mention I've lost 24 lbs!!! You can read about my journey with Plexus HERE!!!
We left Thursday, Oct. 4th at 1:00pm. My parents picked me up at my house. I was waiting for them on my carport. :) (i kinda looked like I was going to be gone for weeks since I had several bags!) We hit interstate 75 at 2:00pm. Daddy had already eaten lunch but Moma and I hadn't. So Mickey D's it was! Their McDoubles is pretty good and I love their french fries, & sweet tea. We drove to the tip of Georgia before calling it a day. We were in our hotel by 6:00pm. We ate at Waffle House for supper. I had their pecan waffles & bacon. YUMMY!!
I stayed up until a little after midnight. I love being on the computer, either on facebook, uploading photos, Pinterest, the list goes on. So much to do and see! Finally I called it a day and hit the sack. I woke up in the middle of the night because Lucy (my parent chocolate Cocker Spaniel) decided to to jump in bed with me and give me kisses right on my face. Oh so sweet!!! Then she jumped back in bed with them.
Daddy woke Moma and I up at 7:30 Friday morning saying, "rise and shine". I remember Daddy saying that to us when I was a kid. It brought back good memories. I found out on this trip I get my personality from my Daddy in the area of waking up, ready to go, and talkative in the very early morning hours . He's in a good mood just like I am!! Within 10 minutes of being up he had it on CMT. Yep, I'm just like that! It take Moma a little bit to wake up. Karen is just like Moma in this area. I told Karen Sunday morning Daddy woke us up at 6:35am! Karen said, "I'll never be able to go with y'all because I don't get up at 6:00 anytime!" Karen also said, "Any time you say six o'clock is a bad word!"
Here's a few photos from our first day / Thursday Oct. 4th:
Yes, this is just my luggage!!
I'm just along for the ride. :)
Ms. Lucy waiting for her Moma & Daddy to come back from checking in at the hotel. :)
She was such a good girl. You wouldn't have even known she was with us. She loves sitting up front in Moma or Daddy's lap. She sits very still!
Lucy on the luggage rolling carrier!
Inside our pretty hotel. (Days Inn, I think)
Pecan waffles and bacon. Delish!
Part Two Coming Soon!
Take Care ~

Too Excited To Sleep!
I should be in bed. Alseep. It's 11:45pm. But I can't! I'm just like a little kid the night before Christmas! Why may you ask? Well, today my parents invited me to go with them for a short trip to the mountains as in the mountains in Tennessee! They told me they are leaving tomorrow around noon and will be back on Sunday. To start with I told my parents no because I had plans on Friday to go out to dinner with with my friends from Shands whom I use to work with. We had this scheduled for weeks. Then my Dad kept talking and begging me to go with them. He said they would pay for everything! Then I had thoughts like this: you never know if there will ever be an opportunity like this again, spend time with your parents, you never know how long you'll have your parents, take pics of the leaves changing color, see the mountains, and just go have a good time. There, I had convinced myself to go or rather my Dad & Mama convinced me to go. :) I sent the girls an email telling them I just had to go and could we reschedule? They understood like I thought they would. Tina did ask me to take plenty of pics. :)
I've been washing clothes and starting to pack. I keep thinking of how much fun we'll have!! My parents have mentioned before about me going and at that time I was working at Shands Hospital and there was no time for me to take off because I had used all of my time with being sick from Fibromyalgia or taking off for doctors appointments. Back in May my parents were planning on going on a short trip to the mountains and asked me if I wanted to go but I was off work while waiting for short term disability to go through and didn't feel up to it because of Fibro. Why do I feel like going now? Because I started taking Plexus July 16th!! Yes, it has helped my health that much! I have lost 23 lbs and my Fibro symptoms are so much better!! It's really unreal how much better I feel not only physically but mentally and emotionally. I thank my Heavenly Father for allowing me to take a leap of faith to try this product.
I will be taking plenty of photos, that's for sure!!! :)
Until Next Time~
