Preparing For Sarah's Bridal Shower!

Yesterday was a very productive day. First & foremost I was able to sleep until 9:15. This is very welcomed considering I'm up at 5:45 Mon. - Fri. to head to work. When I woke up my babies were right there beside me. No I don't have "babies as in human", I have furry babies aka Newman & Ollie. They like to wait on me to get up then they get all excited! Ollie runs in circles before he leaves the room. If they could talk they would  say, "Yay, Mom is up, what are we going to today?"
I had a busy day planned which consisted of going to my mother in laws house 'Frances' & working on arranging flowers for Sarah's (my future daughter in law) bridal shower. I got my inspiration from pinterest! See, those hours of pinning was very much important. ;)
Of course I had to run my McDonalds & get me a hamburger Happy Meal on the way out there. I love their unsweet tea with 10 splenda added to it. (They will add it for you if you ask!)
Sarah's bridal shower is going to be country chic. I'm so hoping it turns out like I envision it to be! Here's a pic of the flower arrangements Frances & I made:
We have ten tables to decorate so we have ten mason jars all decorated! I'm also working on a pendant banner also! It's going to say "Love Is In The Air". I feel like we got alot accomplished.

Michelle & Seth / Maternity Photos

I had the pleasure of photographing Michelle's maternity pics on Oct. 23, 2011! I was so excited (actually for days before hand!) to be able to capture this very special moment in time for Michelle & Seth. This pregnancy has been long awaited for them. It didn't just "happen" for them. They have been on a long journey & now the journey is really going to unfold!
They are going to have a little girl....a little Amelia! I bought a cardboard letter "A" at our local scrapbook store & modge podged scrapbook paper onto it. Of course I used a pretty pink & brown combination. Then adhered some flowers & ribbon to it. This was one of the props we used. I also found a tutorial for making a framed chalk board on Pinterest. (Yes, I'm putting this site to work for me!) So I wrote "Amelia" on the chalk board. Seth had the best idea ever: he brought a Bible Story book & propped up beside Michelle & acted like he was reading a story to Amelia!!! Genius, Seth. :)
Here's a few photos from my very 1st every Maternity Shoot:

Thank you Michelle & Seth for letting me capture this special time in your life! It was a very fun afternoon. At least Amelia's name is spelled correct in these photos that I posted. ;)
I'll be posting a few more as I edit them. :)

One of My Favorite Blogs to Read: DecorandtheDog

I honestly can't say how I found this really cool inspirational blog: Decor and the Dog blog, but I'm so loving reading all of Michelle's post. I'm also totally digging their Beautiful furry child: Ike!!! He looks like such a fun, fun, fun furry child! He's really captivated me. I just look at him and do nothing but SMILE! This is so not like me. I am a devoted Cocker Spaniel lover. I mean we have two of our own & they are our children with fur! Ike has just captivated me so much that I just had to do a post so I could share what I've seen at Michelle's blog!
I asked Michelle if she minding me posting pics of Ike and her only concern was Ike would get a bigger head than he already has! :) :) lol So here's a few pics of the cutie pie:
Isn't Ike the cutest thing ever?

Ike is very photogenic!

Love this pose of Ike!!! He is just adorable!

So our sweet furry doesn't feel left out here's a cute pic of them:

Merisa's Senior Photo Shoot!

I'm thrilled I was able to shoot Meria's photos this past Saturday afternoon. I just L.O.V.E. taking photos but more especially when I am asked to take them!!!
We went to some property in Levy County that my husband, sons, & father in law take care of for a man that lives down south. They maintain the land by farming it, mowing & keeping everything nice and clean. It just so happens there is a couple of old farm houses on the property along with a couple of regualar houses. We all love the old farm houses. I shot some of Meria's pics on the porch which was a nice back drop. I love the texture of old wood.
I am still in the process of editing the pics but here's a few to take a look at:

This might be my very fav!! This originally had the date the pic
was taken so I had to come up with some way for it not
to show! (Not sure how 1/2 the pics had the date & the other 1/2
didn't! Maybe I accidentally did it while switching from black & white?)

Merisa is such a sweet young lady. I will so enjoyed taking these photos of her! I'm hoping she will want to
do this again!! ;)
