Vacay to North Carolina & Tennessee With My Parents!!

This spur of the moment trip with my Daddy and Moma has been one relaxing trip. They invited me on Wednesday to go with them...they were leaving the next day! I talked to my hubby and he encouraged me to go. He said, "go and have a good time! Even six months ago, this wouldn't have been an option for me to go because of work and my health. Amazing how in God's time things can do a 360 degree turn around!

I started Plexus on July 16th 2012. It's now been 2 1/2 months and my health is so much better. Plexus helped my Fibromyalgia pain and increased my energy not to mention I've lost 24 lbs!!! You can read about my journey with Plexus HERE!!!

We left Thursday, Oct. 4th at 1:00pm. My parents picked me up at my house. I was waiting for them on my carport. :)  (i kinda looked like I was going to be gone for weeks since I had several bags!) We hit interstate 75 at 2:00pm. Daddy had already eaten lunch but Moma and I hadn't. So Mickey D's it was! Their McDoubles is pretty good and I love their french fries, & sweet tea. We drove to the tip of Georgia before calling it a day. We were in our hotel by 6:00pm. We ate at Waffle House for supper. I had their pecan waffles & bacon. YUMMY!!

I stayed up until a little after midnight. I love being on the computer, either on facebook, uploading photos, Pinterest, the list goes on. So much to do and see! Finally I called it a day and hit the sack. I woke up in the middle of the night because Lucy (my parent chocolate Cocker Spaniel) decided to to jump in bed with me and give me kisses right on my face. Oh so sweet!!! Then she jumped back in bed with them.

Daddy woke Moma and I up at 7:30 Friday morning saying, "rise and shine". I remember Daddy saying that to us when I was a kid. It brought back good memories. I found out on this trip I get my personality from my Daddy in the area of waking up, ready to go, and talkative in the very early morning hours . He's in a good mood just like I am!! Within 10 minutes of being up he had it on CMT. Yep, I'm just like that! It take Moma  a little bit to wake up. Karen is just like Moma in this area. I told Karen Sunday morning Daddy woke us up at 6:35am! Karen said, "I'll never be able to go with y'all because I don't get up at 6:00 anytime!" Karen also said, "Any time you say six o'clock is a bad word!"

Here's a few photos from our first day / Thursday Oct. 4th:
Yes, this is just my luggage!!

I'm just along for the ride. :)

Ms. Lucy waiting for her Moma & Daddy to come back from checking in at the hotel. :)
She was such a good girl. You wouldn't have even known she was with us. She loves sitting up front in Moma or Daddy's lap. She sits very still!

Lucy on the luggage rolling carrier!

Inside our pretty hotel. (Days Inn, I think)

Pecan waffles and bacon. Delish!
