Happy Birthday, Colby!!!

     This past Friday, January 18, 2013, we celebrated Colby's 23rd Birthday! Sarah was throwing a surprise Birthday party for Colby but he found out the night before by taking Sarah's phone and texting Whitney as if he was Sarah! So, I don't think he'll be getting any more surprise Birthday parties thrown for him anytime soon! So that was an ordeal in itself but it all worked out in the end. Sarah, you are to be commended for thinking of Colby and wanting to do something special for him. It's the thought that counts! :)
     We met at Beef O' Brady's at 7:00pm. We all had a nice time hanging out with family and friends. It sure doesn't seem like we're old enough to have  23 year old son. Here's some pics of Colby's party:

Colby's cake isn't very pretty ( a guy decorated it so I don't think he's found his calling) but it tasted very good!!! It came from Publix. 

Sarah and Whitney...they've been friends since high school. I would adopt Whitney if I could!!! She was so sweet...she brought me a pink and grey Otter Box for my iPhone! I was so tickeled because I'd been using Brandon's and it was camo. Not very girly looking at all. So THANK YOU, Whitney!! I love it and I think of you when I look at it. :)

Colby has loved this stinkin' claw machines since he was a little fella! So funny that at 23 yrs. old he stil loves them! hahaha!!

Save the Date Photos!!!

     Saturday, April 9th 2011 was an exciting & unforgettable day! Holly {which is Colby's future mother in law!} & I had the priviledge of being Colby & Sarah's photographer for the their "Save the Date" & engagement  photographs! How exciting & memorable it was. Sarah & Holly did an awesome job coming up props & ideas.
     The weather was just perfect. It did get rather warm. At least it wasn't rainy!! We went to the Cannon farm. There is this perfect old homestead with an old house Sarah & I have fell in LOVE with! It's just so cute!!

Our Son's 21st Birthday!

     I can't believe our oldest son Colby is 21 years old! Oh my oh my, where has the time went too?
     We celebrated his Birthday by having family & friends meet us at the Ben Jack Hunting Camp. We have hunted here at the camp for years. I know since Chuckie & I met back in 1989 they've hunted here and I know they've hunted there for several years before that!  We have celebrated many Thanksgivings & Christmas's down at the good ole' camp.
     Chuckie grilled hamburgers & hotdogs for everyone. We had some good tastin' barbque beans that Granny made & boy were they yummy! Also added to the menu was some tasty coleslaw & chips. After lunch we had a marble cake from Walmart. It was good but I've tasted better. But who's complaining?

Nan had been riding Brooke and Amer around in the hunting woods. I can remember

going riding with Colby, Brandon, Josh & Mandy when they were little!! It seems just like a few years ago!
