My Heart Melts

I love getting txts from my family & friends. It's so nice to be able to txt because sometimes I just don't feel like talking..you know what I mean? It's great way to communicate. :)

I received a txt  from my sister Saturday evening which is nothing new. It was a picture which I love to receive because I know it's going to be a pic of my sweet little nephew- Kason. Those pics are always just the best. I so L.o.V.e. this little fella.

Well she sends me this txt that says, "Kason, wanted his owl to take a bath with him!!" She told him he couldn't ...she would have to wait on him. Here's the pic:

His owl was sitting on his stepping stool which was sitting right by his bath tub. How sweet is that? She sat right there and waited on him.

Kason had to give his owl some sugars before he even dressed!! He sure loves her. They've been calling her "ewwcy" which = Lucy. He can't quite make the "l" sound yet. :)
This whole txt just melted my heart. I love Kason so very much and I'm so glad we have such a close relationship. I love being his "Aim Aim'. Thank you Karen for sharing this sweet sweet moment. I know it's crazy busy for keeping up with such an active 2 year old. You always make my day by taking time to send my pics of your little man!

Traditional Christmas Luncheon....

Saturday, December 17, 2011 was a day spent with my sweet Moma, sweet sister & my sweetie pie nephew Kason!
Kason giving his Mommy some sweet sugars!

Kason playing with his Sock Monkey ornament that I bought him!

We started the day out by heading to Alachua and going in our favorite consignment shops. I am always on the look out for books &Corning Ware Dishes like these:

You can purchase these at this awesome Awesome Etsy Store called FunkyJunkyVintage!

We ate lunch at our most favorite place: The Ivy House in Alachua, Florida. They have good ole Southern Cooking. It just doesn't get any better than this:

We ordered Krispy Chicken which is what The Ivy House is know for! There was no disappointment! We also ordered their famous vanilla milk cake. It was so delicious! Kason really loved it too. He is definitely my sisters' son!

Group pic which our waitor took of us. (My family knows
I'm not beyond asking our waitor to snap a pic of us!!)

Kason found a Tonka tractor at one of the consignment shops we visited. Doesn't every little boy need a classic Tonka tractor? Well we thought he did too!

We had a wonderful day spent just relaxing and taking our time.

I Love this pic!! Kason grabbed his Mommy's hand & he then he wanted
Nan Nan's hand aka Nanny!

My sweet Mom & I...Yes I took this pic myself! me! Not
half bad, huh?

Kason enjoying some time just looking around!

When Kason gets sleepy it's time to find his Mommy's hair!
Check out the way Kason sucks on his pacifer! Yep, he sucks
it in the bottom of his mouth. His Pediatrician says she can honestly say she's never
seen a baby hold it this away!!

He even will hold Nanny's hair if his Mommy isn't around! :)

We even ended up at The Oaks Mall. Only because I had received an email from American Eagle saying they were having a one day sale with 40% off the entire store! I honestly have never heard of a 40% off sale at American Eagle!! So needless to say we had to do a little shopping!! Our line to check out consisted of approx. 25 people ahead of us. I will say it went pretty fast; having five registers going did really help.

"Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas!!!

I will post tomorrow a set of three photos that I just love. Just hang tight!

Kason Is Loved

Kason my sweet handsome nephew is growing up too fast. He will celebrate is 1st Birthday March 1st!! My how this first year has flown by. I'm so lucky he lives about 10 miles from us so I've seen him often!! I've enjoyed every minute! More especially since my boys are 18 & 21!! I've soaked up every minute from rocking Kason & watching him stare at me & then falling off to sleep to watching him hold his head up which was instantly (he wasn't the typical helpless little baby!) & then it wasn't long he was crawling & then by 10 months he was starting to walk which was way to soon for us!! I can say Kason has been a very determined baby. When he wants something he goes for it and does not give up!

Kason has had a very hard time with acid reflux. He's had many dr. appts. & many a sleepless nights. I feel for Kason & his Mommy which is also my Sister, Karen. She has done such an amazing job!! I always new she would be an amazing Mommy but I just had no idea how much until I got to see her in action. It has been trying especially those first 6 months! She did it and did it amazingly well and not on much sleep to say the least. She walked those floors of th house on many a nights while holding Kason! Kason has that bond with her that will last a life time, because I know from experience. Brandon, my youngest son had a very bad case of colic after he was born & the only person he wanted was me. We still have that special bond that has with stood time! Now don't get me wrong Kason loves his Daddy too. His Daddy can walk in the room and Kason is walking to him for Jay to pick him up! It's so sweet. Kason is very lucky little boy to have such a good Mommy & Daddy to take such good care of him! Kason rocks their world! But then again he rocks my world, his Pa & Nanny Arrington's world & his Papa & Nana Drigger's world & Granny Drigger's world! He is
Loved!

Kason Loves The Vacuum Cleaner Per His Mommy! :)

My sister sent the funniest txt last night!! (I'm blogging about it so I can share it with y'all but also so I'll have it written down somewhere so it won't be forgotten!) She said she probably has the only baby boy that cries when the VACUUM CLEANER IS SHUT OFF because that means he can't chase it anymore. Now mind you he's almost 10 months old. I thought she was going to say he was crying because the vacuum cleaner scared him! Oh no...it's because he can't chase it anymore. How funny is that? Too funny!!! I will post a recent picture of him tonight when I get home. :) :)

Karen & Kason :)

Look how he's holding onto his Mommy! :) There's nothing like a
your baby holding onto you!
